When something is natural for you, especially if it has been that way since childhood, you can assume for a long time that it is natural for everyone. It took me some years to realise that my sensitivity, healing ability and natural conscious connection to the higher planes of spiritual guidance was unusual.
It wasn’t long after that realisation that I stepped away from a career as a lawyer (spiritual law was always more interesting to me anyway) and I began my vocation as a spiritual healer and teacher.
From the earliest memories I have, I was always in conscious connection with Spirit. It has always been as natural as breathing to me and is probably the gift that I am most grateful for this lifetime – though I have gratitude for plenty.
As a young woman in my teens, I began exploring meditation and psychic work, and it was simultaneously like discovering a whole new world and one that I was somehow more familiar with too. In those inner worlds, I found a source of love, intelligence, humour and guidance that was incredibly kind and helpful. It changed my life. I wanted other people to have the opportunity to benefit from that loving guidance too, if they so chose. In my early twenties I began my work as a spiritual teacher and over the past two decades that has unfolded in some most beautiful and unexpected ways!
Now I live, breathe, write, sing, dance and create in honour of that loving guidance, to help its voice be heard in the hearts of those that are in need. This is the voice of the soul. It is the inner voice that honours you and all that you are, sees and encourages you to live with boldness and courage to become all that you can become.
You’ll hear this voice in my books, DVDs, CDs and oracle decks. You’ll hear it inside of your own heart, as though a tuning fork has been struck in the depths of your own being, and you’ll realise that you don’t need to be afraid. You just need to be alive and take your unique journey with trust. May you blossom and shine, dear one, into all that you can be, all that you are.
