BREAD FOR THE JOURNEY is a collection of 10 songs featuring innovative arrangements of traditional chants, lyrical songs and soul-affirming messages. The album's mix of electronic music with acoustic accompaniment (piano, guitar, bass, percussion, clarinet, oboe, flute and alto recorder) along with multiple voices lending back-up leads to a sound that's rich and inspirational. Of particular note is "Songlines," which was inspired by the Aboriginal creation myth. BREAD FOR THE JOURNEY is a richly orchestrated, moving album.
