It is a talisman which originated in the culture of ancient China, being a popular ornament of clothes, shields, jewelry. It shows symbolically five bats around the sign "universum of eternity". It was believed that bats lived near the passages to the world beyond and that they were able to bring all kinds of favors and blessings scattering them all over the world in the dark.
